Rasam Powder
Rasam is a south indian dish alternatively called as charu, chaaru, saaru etc. It is a spicy-sweet-sour, usually prepared with garlic, black pepper, chili pepper, cumin, tomato, and other spices as seasonings, using tamarind.
It is eaten with rice and is always a part of main course in a traditional South Indian meal.

Rasam Powder
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Coriander seeds
- 1/2 cup Toor Dal / Arhar Dal
- 1/4 cup Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup Cumin Seeds
Instructions
- Roast all the ingredients in a pan with low to medium flame. Keep stirring continuously till you smell nice aroma it may take 5 to 10 min or dry it in sun for 2 hrs.
- Add all the ingredients to the grinder and make a powder.
